The method

What is a 1h Protocol?

Why reading good advice rarely changes anything, and how an hour of learning plus a few honest answers can turn it into a plan you'll actually use.

Most advice fails at the same point: the moment you close the tab.

You read an article on sleep, or money, or focus. It makes sense. You agree with it. And then nothing changes, because the article was written for everyone, and you still have to work out what it means for your week, your constraints and your habits. That translation step is where most good intentions die.

A 1h Protocol is built to do that step with you. Each program has three parts, and they happen in the same hour.

1. Learn what matters

Short chapters cover the ideas that change what you do, drawn from published research and the experts who study the topic, with sources cited as you go. If a claim doesn't change a decision, it doesn't make the cut.

2. Answer questions about your life

After each chapter, a few questions ask how the idea applies to you: when you wake up, how much coffee you drink, what usually derails you. Every question exists because the answer changes something in your plan. If it wouldn't, we don't ask it.

3. Leave with your protocol

At the end, your answers come together into a protocol: a practical plan with your own times, a daily routine, what to do when things go wrong, a rollout over the next few weeks, and a way to check whether it's working. It's yours to print, copy and come back to.

The hour is for understanding and planning. The improvement comes from what you do in the weeks after. That's why every protocol starts small and adds one change at a time.

What a protocol is not

It isn't medical, financial or legal advice, and it doesn't replace a professional who knows your situation. When your answers point to something that needs one, like loud snoring or debt you can't make the minimum payments on, the protocol says so and puts that step first.
